National ICT Conference 2011



It is now timely for Malaysia to commit to digitally transforming the government and enterprises in ways that will benefit the country and the rakyat. With MSC Malaysia embarking on its third phase, it will play an ever more important role in the country's progress, specifically in the journey towards becoming an innovative digital economy.


One clear factor agreeable from all sectors is that ICT remains a key for our success as a nation. Many initiatives have been instrumental in the public and private sectors in bringing great value for the nation's ICT industry on many fronts, including investment, talent creation and social benefits.


Therefore, the goal of an innovative digital transformation is to be able to stimulate human creativity with new technologies, outlets and opportunities. These catalysts will in turn lead to innovation in products, services and processes created, increasing productivity for individuals and businesses, and boosting their competitiveness in the global digital economy.


Therefore, a well planned and successfully executed digital strategy is a must to ensure that Malaysia is able to continue competing and excelling on the global fronts.

The focus now is for Malaysia to leverage on the ICT sector even more and take success to a new level of global competitiveness.


The National ICT Conference 2011 is the third edition of its kind to run against the backdrop of various national ICT initiatives and rapid development of ICT-enabled business solutions. The conference supports the government’s digital transformation agenda and intends to add momentum to existing initiatives besides creating a forum for information sharing and networking.
